How can I find out if I am a Gold Pearl membe?
Do you have 13,001 points? Perfect! But that’s not quite enough,
You can only be a Gold Pearl member if you have taken 3 cruises in the past 36 months.  All Gold Pearl members will be sent a letter informing them of the date that their membership expires.
You can also check which club you belong to and, if you are a Gold Pearl member, the date that your membership expires by logging onto our website, www.costacruise.com. You must be registered to log on. 
I am a Gold Pearl member now. Will I still be a member on my next cruise?
To be able to enjoy Gold Pearl privileges, the departure date of your next cruise must be earlier than the membership expiry date mentioned in the welcome letter.
For example:
Your membership expires on 30  May 2010, so only if your cruise leaves before this date will you be able to enjoy Gold Pearl privileges. 
Do I really need to have taken at least 3 cruises in 3 years?
If you don’t take 3 cruises in 3 years you will go back to being a Pearl Club member, but you will keep all the points you have accumulated. 
How long does Gold Pearl member status last?
When you become a Gold Pearl member you will receive a welcome letter by post or by email that will inform you when your Gold Pearl member status expires. 
My Gold Pearl Club membership expires next month. Can I still use the special discounts to book my next cruise before my membership expires?
Absolutely, yes. You can enjoy the Club’s special exclusive discounts for as long as you are a member. 
I have booked using a Gold Pearl discount, but in the meantime my Gold Pearl Club membership has expired: what privileges will I be entitled to?
In this case you will be entitled to all the advantages and privileges of the Pearl Club. 
Can I become a Pearl Gold member again?
Of course! The system takes into account all the cruises you have taken. When you become a Gold Pearl member again you will be sent another welcome letter with your new membership expiry date. 
What benefits does the ProntoPrice fare offer CostaClub members on the purchase of a cruise?
As a CostaClub member you always have an extra privilege: whichever departure you choose, you can take advantage of the 5% discount offered by the Frequent Guest Formula. The Frequent Guest discount applies to the ProntoPrice fare or to the best available fare at the time of booking. 
How can I take advantage of the 5% discount offered by the Frequent Guest Formula?
CostaClub discounts are only recognized at the time of selecting/booking your cruise through the validation of your Membership Number. You cannot make changes to a booking at a later date and receive retroactive discounts. 
What do I have to do to enjoy the privileges that the Club offer its members aboard the ship and ashore?
Make sure that you always quote your Membership Number when selecting/booking your cruise. This is essential in order to be entitled to all the CostaClub benefits.
How do I accumulate CostaClub points?
On each new Costa cruise you take, you will be credited with new points, which are added to the points you already have:
The calculation of points depends on:
• the total number of days of the cruise
• your expenses while on board
Remember that:
• every day of a cruise is worth 100 points
• every € 52 dollars spent on board - excluding any fractions of that amount - and registered on your onboard personal cruise card is worth 40 points.
Not included in the calculation of points are expenses paid for on board by the member but registered on the personal cruise card of a different person, even if they share the same cabin.
How can I find out how many points I have accumulated and to which Club I belong?
You can contact us by writing to costaclub.int@costa.it, quoting your CostaClub Membership Number or enter the reserved area of the CostaClub website (www.costacruise.com).
How are my points credited to me on my CostaClub Membership Card?
Points are added automatically 30 days after the end of every cruise.
How are the CostaClub discounts calculated?
All CostaClub discounts are applicable to the cruise portion of the fare and not to insurance, port taxes, airfares, transfers or any on shore accommodation. The validity of other offers to be used in conjunction with the Frequent Guest discount must be checked. CostaClub discounts are only recognized at the time of selecting/booking your cruise through the validation of your Membership Number. You cannot make changes to a booking at a later date and receive retroactive discounts. The discounts can be used by members according to the limit of available places for each cruise.
If you think that you are entitled to more points than have been credited to your account, you must inform CostaClub. How?
Send us the following documents, together with your full name and CostaClub Membership Number:
- copy of statement of onboard expenses, in the case of failure to credit points for onboard purchases
- copies of cruise tickets for failure to credit cruise points.

What if I can’t remember by CostaClub Membership Number and want to book?
You can write to us at costaclub.int@costa.it, quoting your personal details to aid the search for your CostaClub Membership Number in our database. You will find a new card in your cabin on your next cruise.
What happens if I pass from the Aquamarine to the Coral Club, or from the Coral to the Pearl Club?
You will find your new card in your cabin on your next cruise.
What do I need to do if my CostaClub membership has expired?
Membership of the Club is valid for three years and is renewed automatically for another three years each time you purchase a Costa cruise. You can also renew your membership even if you haven’t taken a cruise during the past three years just write to costaclub.int@costa.it
Will I be able to receive my Card onboard, even if I didn’t quote my CostaClub Membership Number when booking?
Certainly, just quote your CostaClub Membership Number directly to the CostaClub representative at the CostaClub Point or contact the front desk onboard the ship.
How can I take advantage of privileged boarding if my CostaClub Card is given to me onboard the ship?
First of all, remember that privileged boarding is reserved for Coral, Pearl and Gold Pearl members only. Check that your membership number and your level of membership (C = Coral, P = Pearl, GP = Gold Pearl) are shown on your cruise ticket. Then present your ticket to the hostesses at the Customer Service desk to collect your priority pass. Always ensure that your travel agent enters your CostaClub Membership Number when booking. All your travel documents will thus bear your CostaClub details and you will be sure to receive all the privileges to which you are entitled onboard.

If I compile the CostaClub membership request aboard the ship during my first cruise, will I be entitled to the CostaClub privileges? When will I receive the CostaClub Card?
Your membership request, if made on board, will be processed within 60 days of the end of the cruise, and will thus become effective after your cruise has finished. You will receive a welcome letter with your Membership Number and your Club of membership. Your CostaClub Card will be delivered directly to your cabin on your next cruise, when you will be entitled to the CostaClub privileges for the first time.
If I compile the CostaClub membership request aboard the ship and I have already been on Costa cruises, will I be entitled to the CostaClub privileges?
If you have already been on Costa cruises, your Club membership will take effect immediately if the cruises that you have taken are present in our database. This check will be made onboard the ship by the CostaClub representative.
