Umagase, at the top of Cape Hyuga, is a precipitous cliff of pillar-like rocks, towering as high as 70 meters, and commands an excellent view of the waves below breaking against the rocks on both sides of the waterway and sending up sprays of water, 200 meters long and 10 meters wide. If If you go further toward the ocean with Umagase at your back, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the Pacific Ocean from the tip of the cape. Sea of sea Cruz is also referred as "Sea of Cross", because sea wave washed and eroded the rock at the shape of "cross" consisting of 200m in east and west and the south north 220m cross. Enjoy this unique natural scenary. You will then visit a Local Souvenir Shop, Hososhima is famous for Go-stone(made from shell) and the largest production volume in the world.
