  • Rumah Penghulu
  • Photo stop at the Petronas Twin Towers

What we will do
  • We start our tour of the Malaysian capital with the National Monument, located in the Kuala Lumpur Lake Gardens erected in memory of those who lost their lives defending their homeland. This imposing monument was sculpted in 1966 by Felix de Weldon, who also created the Iwo Jima Memorial at the Arlington cemetery.
  • Through parks and lush gardens, our itinerary takes us to the Islamic Arts Museum which covers 1,300 years of history of Islamic arts and displays the amazing results, often little known, of one of the greatest civilisations that ever existed on our planet.
  • With its vast collections of miniatures, paintings and ceramics, it seems almost impossible that a single museum can do justice to the splendour of this ancient civilisation.
  • Before venturing into the heart of the city, we pass in front of the old railway stationand the general offices of the Malaysian railway.
  • We then stop at Rumah Penghulu to visit a perfectly restored Malaysian house, once home of the local tribal chief.
  • Located in the gardens of the Badan Warisan Heritage Centre, it stands out thanks to its unique architectural style, a form of Malaysian art passed on from generation to generation.
  • After a brief stop, we finally reach the Petronas Twin Towers to take a few pictures and do some shopping.
