Nobeoka is a city located in the north of Miyazaki Prefecture, Japan. In modern times, Nobeoka City takes pride in being Eastern Kyushu’s number one industrial city. Your first visit will be Nobeoka Castle Ruins, which was built in 1603. There is a bell house in the castle tower ruin, the bell is tolled to tell the time still now. There is a stone wall that 1000 enemies could be killed at once when one of the stones is removed off and the wall is fell down, it is called "1000people killer stone wall". The Castle Ruins is in Shiroyama Park, please enjoy the atmosphere of Japan in the park.
Then, you will walk to Naito Museum houses cultural property donated by Nobeoka’s previous feudal lords, the Naito Family. Especially, 66Noh masks are nationally valuable, including 30masks that were made from the Momoyama period to the first of the Edo period by 6Noh mask artists under the style of "the best in the world".
