What we will do
  • We leave the port by coach and head to the magnificent San Gervasio Mayan archaeological site, the most important site on Cozumel, once the political centre of the Mayan community on the island.
  • It was once a sacred city dedicated to Ixchel, goddess of the moon, fertility and childbirth. San Gervasio is a complex with temples, ceremonial buildings and palaces divided into four areas which are linked by a network of roads, still magnificently preserved, where it is possible to observe some fragments of frescoes in the circular building known as the "Big House".
  • After our visit to San Gervasio, we move to Hacienda Antigua, where we observe the tequila extraction process and discover the secrets of the iconic Mexican spirit.
  • We then head to the western part of Cozumel, where we can enjoy the amazing scenery of the wildest uninhabited part of the island. Along the way, we stop briefly at the El Mirador panoramic viewpoint, where the sea has carved an arch into the rock offering breathtaking views with the island of Cuba in the background. Enchanted by this scenery, we take a few photographs and then set off once more.
