What we will do
  • We begin this exciting excursion at the cruise liner pier, where our guides give us a practical demonstration of how to drive the ATVs before setting off, leading us in a convoy.
  • The first stop is the US Air Force base, which we then leave, admiring the old colonial style buildings typical of the 1820s and 1860s on one side and on the other side the unmistakable turquoise sea of Bermuda.
  • We proceed in our journey towards Little Bluff, where we dismount our ATVs to watch the wild horses, free roaming donkeys and the fascinating flamingos in all their majestic beauty. And if we look beyond, to the extreme north of the island, we can see the lighthouse built in 1852.
  • We are fascinated by the wreck of a ship which sank 190 years ago while crossing the mysterious Bermuda Triangle and the legends about the mysterious shipwrecks and the salt trade. * We also hear about the 21,000 ft. drop that surrounds the island. We then return to our ATVs for a little more off-road driving along the northern river until we reach our next destination: the Circle of Life. Here we have the opportunity to see and touch exotic marine creatures such as starfish, sea urchins, conchs, sea centipedes, turtles, shells and much more.
  • Our tour comes to an end and we are back on our ATVs to continue our journey through the city to see the nearby salt Lakes followed by one last stop before returning to the cruise port. The last stop is John Glenn's Capsule at the entrance of JAGS McCartney International Airport. With a bit of luck, we could even spot brown pelicans looking for food on the sediments of the salinas.
